Winona “Nonie” Jean Dudley, age 58, of Redby, MN journeyed to the Spirit World on May 29, 2021.

She was born on May 25, 1963 in Red Lake, MN the daughter of Peter Strong Sr. and Almeda Lussier.

Nonie was known best for having a selfless, loving, encouraging heart.  She loved with all her heart and was not afraid to show it.  Growing up, she loved the pow-wow trail with her family.  Even winning first place in fancy shawl.  Nonie and her son, Chun, were expert morel mushroom hunters and loved it.  She loved to have fun and her laughter was contagious.  She loved her grandchildren and was a mom to everyone.

Survived by her husband James Dudley Sr.; sons Joseph Strong & Harrison Dudley Sr.; grandson Baby Harry; granddaughter Robyn; special sons Floyd Strong & Ron Strong; brothers Clayton Strong Sr. and Peter Strong Jr.; aunts Thelberta Lussier, Barbara Vasquez, Isadora Lussier, Jackie Defoe; uncles Gus Strong and Willy Strong; many nieces & nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her mother; her father; sister Lennette R. Strong; son Chun Dudley; best friend/cousin “Kay Bon Jovi”.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 5th at 2:00 PM at Redby Community Center in Redby, MN.  George Ross and Willy Strong will officiate.

All night wake will be held Friday, June 4th beginning at 2:00 PM at Redby Community Center.

Casket Bearers will be Joe Strong, Harrison Dudley Sr., Floyd Strong, Ron Strong, Dillion McBride, Justin Auginash, Jamie Auginash, Stephen Strong and alternate Rick McBride.
