Visitation Information
William Corby Langdeaux, Sr. born December 13th,1959 journeyed to the Spirit World on Monday, February 7th,2011. He was fifty one years old at the time of his death. He was what one would call a wonderer; he preferred to live where ever his music took him. There is one thing for certain, that he wanted to be remembered by, that no matter where they were or how they felt he LOVED his children. He was a phenomenal guitar player and singer, music was and will always be a part of his children’s lives because of him. He loved to travel and was never in one place for very long, unless he had no choice… He was a very simple man and lived his last years happily around his children, family, and friends.
William will be buried, by his request on his children’s reservation and cemetery plot, the Big Coulee District of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate. He was a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe of Wanblee, South Dakota. He was a very proud Native American and loved to laugh and just have a good time. He will be forever missed… until we meet again.
Corby is survived by his Children: Lynn Stewart, Corrina Langdeaux, LaShannon Quinn, Moonlight Aadland, Misty Langdeaux, and William Corby Langdeaux, Jr., his Grandchildren Joey, Reese, Autumn, and Seth Stewart , Ethan and Eric Tiger, Angelina Aadland, Percy Kirk, and David Johnson, his Sisters Mona Hart and Julie Kennedy-Morans, and also many Nieces and Nephews.
Corby was preceded in death by a Daughter Angelina Langdeaux, Granddaughters Valerie and Nevaeh Kirk, his Mother Cordelia Finley, his Father Vernon Langdeaux, his Brothers Stuart Hawkins and Vernon Langdeaux, his Sister Donna Kennedy, his paternal Grandparents, his maternal Grandparents, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
.
