Warren Walter Kern, age 66, of Howard Lake passed away on Tuesday, November 1st, 2016 at his residence.
He was born on October 15, 1950 in Glencoe the son of Edward and Lenora (Wirth) Kern.
Warren was formerly employed as a production worker at Mid-Am Creamery. He later became a home health aide as he always wanted to help people.
He enjoyed fishing, cutting wood, gardening and spending time with the grandchildren.
Survived by a daughter: Cari (Paul) Gaines of Hutchinson; sons: Chris Kern of Cokato and Charlie Kern (Susan Burda) of Litchfield; grandchildren: Justin, Darrin (Kate), Brandon & Alex Bebo and Nick & Zach Kern; a brother: Waldemar “Pete” (Gretta) Kern of Waverly; sisters: Beatrice (Donald) Zellmann of Arlington and Barbara Smith of Howard Lake; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents and a brother Wallace E. Kern.
Funeral services for Warren Kern will be held on Friday, November 4th, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Harvest Community Church in Lester Prairie. Pastor Tom Starkjohn and Pastor Jon Wall will officiate. Pianist for the service will be Darryl Minkin.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 4th at the church a half hour prior to services.
