Visitation Information

Wallace Bertwood Pendleton Jr., age 58, of Lower Sioux Indian Community journeyed to the Spirit World on Friday, October 1st, 2010.

Wally was born on May 21, 1952 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota the son of Wallace and Iola (Goodthunder) Pendleton Sr.

Wally was formerly employed at Jackpot Junction doing many different positions, security, bartender, blackjack dealer, and Tribal Representitive.

He enjoyed many things in life, like playing cribbage, Keno, and poker. Always liked to party and enjoyed hosting to his many friends and family.

Survived by: Anna Pendleton; children: Iola and Marcos Hernandez; Jeremy Pendleton and Heather Reid; Steven Pendleton; Austin Pendleton; Grandchildren: Marcos, Juan, Raquel Hernandez and Cody Remkus of Rosemount, MN.; Sisters and Brothers: Warlene Yellow Cloud of Flandreau, SD., Ann Larsen and Don Prescott, Alan Pendleton Sr., Joyce Pendleton, Brenda Pendleton, Benjamin Pendleton all of Lower Sioux; Two godchildren : Myron Rainey Jr. and Mathew Pendleton; a host of relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by a grandson: Don Wallace Hernandez; his parents, his brother Mathew Pendleton, a sister Gloria Pendleton and with loving sister Beatrice Rainey.

Funeral Services for Wallace Pendleton Jr. will be held on Monday, October 4th at 4:00 P.M. at The Lower Sioux Community Center.

All night wakes were held on Saturday, October 2nd and Sunday, October 3rd at The Lower Sioux Community Center.

Interment St. Cornelia, Lower Sioux Community.

Casket Bearers will be Mathew Pendleton, Nathan Wabasha, Winterhawk Old Rock, Paul Dow, Myron Rainey Sr., Robert D. Larsen, Kevin Seehausen, Dave Schultz.
