Theresa L. (Howard) Yahr

Born December 14, 1940, Journeyed to the Spirit World November 11, 2018.

Survived by her children, Scott Yahr, Stacey Cheeseman, Suzanne (James) Strempke, Sherry Yahr; sister, Gertrude Buckanaga; brother, Robert (Imogene) Howard; grandchildren, Nadia, Aidan, Tristan, Taylor, Nolan, Jacob, Treighton; great-grandson, Emmett; nephews, Ron Buckanaga, Neil Buckanaga; niece, Sharon Walker; and many other nieces; nephews; honorary family member, Ann Tombers; and friends.

We will miss her fun, adventurous and loving spirit. Her pride was her family and her love had no end for them.

Preceded in death by parents, Cyril and Sadie Howard Sr.; brothers, Cyril Howard Jr., John Howard; and sisters, Donna Jerome, Anita Howard.

An all night wake will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 beginning at 7:00 PM, with a service at 8:00 PM, at the Upper MidWest American Indian Center in Minneapolis. Burial will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 1:30 PM at St. Theodore Cemetery in Pine Point.
