Steven Ortley, Jr., age 73 of Mahnomen, Minnesota Journeyed to the Spirit World on Thursday, May 11th, 2017.
He was born on February 13th, 1944 in White Earth, Minnesota the son of Stephen Ortley Sr. and Ione Bassett Ortley.
Steven was formerly employed as a laborer at the Cedar Box Company.
Survived by his Sisters: Charlotte (Frank) Elias, Sylvia Ortley, Joanne Ortley, Roberta Ortley and Naomi Jones; nephews: James Ortley Sr., Sam Ortley Sr., and Eugene Eischens; nieces: Nancy Navarro, Renee (Steven) McCarren, Lori (Wayne) Eischens, Tanya Eischens, Teresa Ortley, Anne Ortley, Lisa Ortley, Stephanie (Freddy) Ortley – Sanchez, Andrea Ortley, Karen Townsend, Valerie Eischens, Bobbi Jo Thompson, and many more relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Ione Ortley; grandparents; brothers: Frank Ortley, David Ortley, Francis Ortley, and William Ortley; sisters: Florence (Eugene) Eischens, Louise (Oscar) Westbrook, and Leona Ortley; Nephew: David Eischens; other relatives and friends.
A wake will be held on Thursday, May 18th, 2017 beginning at 4:00 P.M. at the Old Pine Point School, Ponsford, Minnesota.
Funeral Services for Steven Ortley will be held on Friday, May 19th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Old Pine Point School, Ponsford, MN. Interment will follow at St. Theodore Catholic Cemetery.
