Shane Michael Zephier, “Hoksila Waste” age 23, of Minneapolis Journeyed to the Spirit World on Thursday, October 10, 2019.
He was born on September 8, 1996 in Minneapolis.
Shane was kind hearted, loving and caring. He was loved by all and saw the good in everyone. Shane enjoyed music and getting along with everyone. He made relatives everywhere he went. Shane cared for his mother as she cared for him! There was laughter any time he was around.

Survived by his loving mother: Myrna Zephier; brothers: Brandon Zephier and Joseph Henry; sisters: Lugene Flores, Jaqueline Henry-Barney, Marion Delgado-Zephier, Loretta Zephier, Shiela Zephier, Tammy Zephier and Dakota Zephier; nieces and nephews: Trina, Jay Jay, Sheree, Courtney, Desirae, Ashley, Itanca, Robert, Malia, Tony, Nycole, Vincent, Victoria, Idali, Natacha, Sean, Raymond, Ambersky, Hopa, Adrian and Katie; great, great nieces and nephews to many to name but he loved and cherished each and every one of them; many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother Patrick Henry, an aunt Eugena Tallman, a cousin Victoria Alverez and by two nephews Corey Zephier and Bruce Bordeaux.

An all-night wake will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. at The Church of the Blessed Kateri. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the Church of the Blessed Kateri.
Janice Bad Moccasin will officiate. Drum group will be “Hoka Hey”.

Honorary Casket Bearers: Joe Little Baldeagle, Charles Medicine Blanket, Marcella Medicine Blanket, Darlene Allard, Russell Eaglebear, Inez Medicine Blanket, Beverly Medicine Blanket, and Elaine Medicine Blanket.

Casket Bearers will be Robert Henry, Tony Zephier, Arthur Tallman, Raymond Stevens, Brandon Zephier, Vincent Phomsoukha, Samuel Quiver III, Dennis Medicine Blanket, Scott Medicine Blanket, John Ponca.

Interment will be at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in St. Francis, South Dakota.
