Shalon W. Enoch, age 31 of Watertown, South Dakota journeyed in to the Spirit World Sunday, May 25th, 2008 in Yankton, South Dakota.
She was born on January 27, 1977 in Sisseton, South Dakota. She completed school up to the 11th grade and later earned her GED. She was raised by her grandparents, Norma and Horace Max, and later her Dad and Aunt also cared for her. Shalon moved to Watertown where she stayed at the A.T.C.O. where she worked. She loved her music and also enjoyed watching wrestling, and movies. She loved pets and had a special fondness for her cats and kittens. Shalon enjoyed helping watch kids, such as her nieces, nephews, and cousins. She always had generous ways for her family, no matter how much or how little she had.
All night wakes were held Monday, May 26th and Tuesday, May 27th at the Community Center in Old Agency Village, South Dakota.
The funeral service for Shalon Enoch was Wednesday, May 28th, 2008 at 2pm at the Community Center in Old Agency Village, South Dakota. Officiants were CLP Filmore Simon and Reverend Rich Felch. Special music by Butch Felix, Carl Lufkins and the “All Nation Singers”.
Casket bearers were Dennis Hisgun Jr., Tim Max Jr., Terry McKay, Josh Max, Robert Enoch, and Maurice Johnson. Alternate bearers were Tim Max Sr. and Daniel Necklace. Honorary bearers were all of Shalon’s family and friends.
Interment was at the Max/Enoch Family Cemetery in Sisseton, South Dakota.
