Visitation Information
Sanford Wayne St. John-Jeffers, age 51, of Minneapolis journeyed to the Spirit World on December 2, 2009. He was a member of The Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. TODAY, Monday, December 7th at The Community Center in Old Agency Village, South Dakota. Father Andy Knop, OMI will officiate and interment will follow at St. Matthew’s Cemetery in Veblen.
I wish I could be there for the services today, my mom Elvera Perez who recently past away was very fond of Sanford. She spoke of him often and really enjoyed spending time with him at Louise’s house when she was able to get out of the house. I know if she was still alive she would of been deeply sadden by his death as I am as well. I didn’t know Sanford real well but know enough that he loved his brothers and family. He did love to laugh and joke around whenever I did see him. He had a great sense of humor and know he and mom are both laughing somewhere in the spirit world. My condolences to my cousins and love you all. Lorraine
