Ruth (nee Weibel) Noreen, Age 92 of Winsted, formerly of Minneapolis and Alexandria.The eldest of 13 children, Ruth is survived by beloved daughters, Sister Gladys Noreen, OSB, of Clyde, MO, Phyllis Noreen of New York, NY; brothers and a sister, Martin “Les” (Marilyn) Weibel, of Minnetonka, June (George) Nick, of Hastings, Harold “Pete” (Muriel) Weibel, of Pillager, Glen (Ellen) Weibel, of Cannon Falls, Bob (Mary Ann) Weibel, of San Mateo, CA, Curtis (Kathy) Weibel of Larsen WI; sisters in law, Marcy Weibel, of Winsted, & Jackie Weibel of Cokato; loving cousins in Sweden and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband Carl Noreen, her parents, Paul J. and Ellen Weibel, five brothers, and a sister. A Funeral Service 11:00 AM Saturday, St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winsted. Visitation at the Funeral home on Friday 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Further visitation Saturday one hour prior to services at the church. Legion Auxiliary Ritual 7PM Friday and prayer service with time of sharing 7:30 PM.

    It is with great sadness that we have received the news that our dear aunt Ruth has passed away. We are so happy Ruth (and Carl) have come to see us here in Sweden so many times and Ruth’s last visit was only two months ago. We remember with with joy and gratefulness the way she received us at her 90th birthday party. Dear Ruth, we will always remember you as our happy and positive aunt. Rest in peace.

    Am sorry to hear about the loss of ur mother she was a great woman i know we will miss her HUGS she was always in the Church Lobby as a SUN. moring Greeter and always had a smile on her face and always gave a warm hug to those she loved… I think she was a wonderful woman who had a strong relationship with her Savior
