Roslyn Mary Kelm, age 78 of Melrose, formerly of Winsted, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022. She was born March 25, 1944 in Winsted, the daughter of Russell Albert and Luella Jane (Cook) Gilmer.

Roslyn graduated from Howard Lake High School with the class of 1962. She enjoyed working various careers, allowing her to take care of others which she loved to do. Roslyn enjoyed shopping, traveling, canning, painting, cooking, and baking -always making her family’s favorite treats. She especially loved her animals and puppy sitting for everyone. You could find Roslyn dressing up for the holidays and spreading goodies to everyone.

Roslyn had a big heart for all people and animals. She was very giving and helpful. A true individual full of laughter and joy who had a great sense of humor and was not afraid to laugh at herself.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Luella Gilmer; first husband, Delbert O’Loughlin Sr.; husband, Virgil Kelm; and brother, Dale Gilmer.

Roslyn is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Dennis) Young, Shannon Votava (Doug Olson), Adrianna (Michael Diaz-Saule) Diaz, Delbert (DeAnn) O’Loughlin, Kelly Nowacki; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Jerry (Mardis) Gilmer, Sandie Tyler, LeeAnn (Johnny) Hirsch, Don (Adie) Gilmer; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM, with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM, at Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, MN. Interment to follow at Winsted Public Cemetery.
