April 19, 1941 – November 24, 2023

Rosemary Lucille (Bayerl) Weber, age 82, of Winsted passed away on November 24th, 2023 surrounded by her sarcastically funny family.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever be etched in our hearts.

Rosemary was born on April 19, 1941 to Frank and Mary Bayerl.  As the fourth child in a family of 12 siblings, she learned the values of compassion, resilience, and unity from an early age, which she carried with her throughout her remarkable life.

Rosemary was united in marriage to Charles Weber on April 22, 1961 and they were blessed with nine children.

Rosemary was the epitome of selflessness and patience, dedicating her life to nurturing and raising her children with an abundance of love. Her home was a haven of warmth, laughter, and unwavering support, where she instilled in her children the importance of family, kindness, and a strong work ethic.

A woman of many talents, Rosemary had a passion for quilting that was as vast as her heart. Her well-worn hands created intricate works of art that not only adorned her home but became cherished heirlooms that will be passed down through generations. The love and dedication she poured into every stitch were a testament to her creativity and the depth of her commitment to her family, friends, and community. Her legacy lives on, not only in the beautiful quilts she crafted, but in the hearts and minds of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

Beyond her role as a mother, Rosemary was a pillar of strength and a source of inspiration to all who knew her, especially when things got tough. Her boundless generosity, unwavering faith, and infectious smile touched the lives of countless friends and extended family members.

She was a lifelong resident of Winsted.  She was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and was a member of the CCW.

Rosemary is survived by her children: Kathleen (Derek) LaZarre, (Janelle) Weber, Todd (Tina) Weber, Michael Weber, Brenda (Pat) Fogarty, Gene (Debbie) Weber, Carrie Weber, Brad Weber (Ryan), Kelly (Steve) Sale; 30 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mary, husband Charles, son Steven and grandson Severin.

As we say our goodbyes, let us remember Rosemary for the love she shared, the lessons she imparted, and the enduring warmth of her spirit. She leaves behind a family forever grateful for the gift of her presence, a community touched by the kindness and grace that defined her life. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory be a source of both tears and laughter to us all.
