Robert LeRoy Bruins, age 54 of Silver Lake passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

He was born on March 13, 1967 in Minneapolis the son of Albert “LeRoy” and Cheryl (Flanders) Bruins.

Robert was the Proprietor of A2B Transportation.

He enjoyed fishing, playing with his grandchildren,  golfing and was a truck Cross Driver at Arlington Raceway.

Survived by his wife: Sandie; children: daughter: Alexis (Zack) Bruins-Ryks, daughter Kayla (Luke) Otto, Daughter Hannah Bruins; stepson: David Fischer, step daughter: Elizabeth Kisor; Sandie’s daughters: Martina (Adam) Boettcher and Tianna (Lee) Kappes; lots of loving grandchildren; his mother: Cheryl Bruins; a sister:  Michelle Padgett; special uncle: Jim Flanders and by a special nephew Kaile Padgett; many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his father Albert “LeRoy” Bruins and by Sandie’s daughter Amanda Alvarez Rodriguez.

A Memorial service for Robert L. Bruins will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted.   Reverend Dawn Lundgren will officiate.

A time of gathering will be held on Saturday, May 1st beginning at 3:00 P.M. until time of services at The Chilson Funeral Home. Followed by a potluck gathering of friends & family @ 300 Frank St. Silver Lake, MN
