Robert Calvin Coolidge “Mosquito” Brown Jr., age 60 of Minneapolis Journeyed to the Spirit World on Thursday, May 29 th, 2008 at The Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.

He was born on December 31, 1947 in Minneapolis the son of Robert & Pearl Brown Sr.

Robert loved playing cards, drums, dominos and walking.

Survived by a brother: Donald Brown of Minneapolis, sisters: Mayford Griffith, Felicia Kater and Elloreen Blue all of Brownsville, Oregon, Melva Blue of Florida and by a brother: Quentin (Janice) Brown of Minneapolis; uncle and aunt: Dennis (Lettie) Brown of Minneapolis and by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Preceded in death by his mother: Pearl Brown and by a sister: Delplhine Roberts.

All night wakes were held on Friday, May 30th and Saturday, May 31st at Upper Midwest American Indian Center of Minneapolis. An All night wake will be held on Sunday, June 1st at The Guild Hall in Big Coulee.

Funeral Services for Robert “Mosquito” Brown Jr. will be held on Monday, June 2nd at 10:00 A.M. at Ascension Presbyterian Church in Big Coulee. Pastor Enright Big Horn will officiate.

Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery.
