Richard Vilas Boswell, “Ishky” was born June 11, 1941 and Journeyed to the Spirit World on April 22, 2016. Preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Waleya Boswell; son, Wayne; his brothers and sisters; and two dogs, Oddio and Mugs.
Survived by his wife, Kathy; son, Junior; granddaughter,
Olivia; grandsons: Anthony and Jared; great-grandkids:
Jayden, Aubrie and Madeline; grandson-in-law, Jeff; sister,
Judy; and many other relatives.
Ishky was born June 11, 1941 in Red Lake, MN. He grew
up in Red Lake until he joined the Navy at the age of 17. He
served 4 years, during those years he served in Vietnam and
traveled the world and learned his trade of machinist, once
discharged he continued on in the machinist industry and
soon met his wife, Kathy, and they had two sons, Richard Jr.
and Wayne. Ishky became a grandfather to Olivia, then a
great-grandpa to Jayden, Aubrie and Madeline. He loved his
great-grandchildren very deeply. Ishky loved watching his
old time movies and having a slice of cake, he did have a
sweet tooth! He liked to read and talk on the phone with his
friends. He will be missed by all!
