Quentin Duane Brown, age 66, of Minneapolis journeyed to the Spirit World on Friday, November 4, 2011 at The University Hospital in Minneapolis.

He was born on May 12, 1945 in Minneapolis the son of Joe & Pearl Phelps Marschal.

On April 29, 1978 Quentin Brown and Janice Morrow were joined in marriage.

He was formerly employed as a carpenter at The Center School in Minneapolis.

Quentin loved to play bingo and the slot machines.

Survived by his wife: Janice Brown; a brother: Donald Brown of Minneapolis; sisters: Felicita Kater of Brownsville, Oregon, Mayford Griffith of Redfield, South Dakota, Eloreen Blue of Brownsville, Oregon and Melva Brown of Florida; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his mother, his father, a brother: Robert Brown Jr. and by a sister: Delphine Brown.

Funeral services for Quentin Brown will be held on Monday evening, November 7th at 7:00 P.M. at The Church of Blessed Gichitwaa Kateri in Minneapolis. Officiating will be Father Mike.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 7th from 5- 9:00 P.M. at The Church of Blessed Gichitwaa Kateri in Minneapolis.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Max Morrow Sr. and Dennis Brown Sr.

Casket Bearers will be Richard Collison, Max Morrow Jr., Kenneth Morrow, Roger Heineke, LaMar Jones and Jack Morrow.

    I send my deepest sympathy to the family of Quentin Brown. He was going to move into the Elders building on 24th and Bloomington. That is how I met him. Nice person and will be missed.
