Patricia Rose Lenz, age 95, of Winsted passed away on Saturday morning, January 26, 2019 at St. Mary’s Care Center.

She was born in Waverly on August 30, 1923 the daughter of Edward and Rose (Nolan) Burke.

Pat graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Waverly in 1941 and later attended The Minnesota School of Business.

On November 22nd, 1947, Patricia R. Burke and Harold C. Lenz were joined in holy marriage in Minneapolis. God blessed their marriage with two children Gary and Margaret “Peggy”.

Pat was formerly employed for more than thirty-five years at Sterner Lighting and at Sterner Industries as a bookkeeper.

She enjoyed dancing, sewing, playing the piano & organ and decorating her home. Pat was happy all the time!

She was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted.

Survived by her loving children: Gary (Jody) Lenz and Margaret “Peggy” Lenz all of Winsted; grandchildren: Sara Lynn (Clayton) Norman and Mariah Rose Lenz; great grandchildren: Emma Jo Norman and Cade Harold Norman; a sister-in-law: Irma Jaekel of Saratoga Springs, New York; many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband Harold C. Lenz in 1993, her parents and by a sister Elizabeth “Betty” Olsen.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Pat Lenz will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Father Tony Stubeda will be the Celebrant. Lavon Kielkucki will be the organist.

Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 30th from 4-8 P.M. at The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted. CCW Rosary will be recited at 4:15 P.M. and Parish Prayers will be held at 4:30 P.M.
Further visitation will be held on Thursday morning, January 31st one hour prior to Mass at the church.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Bob Olsen, Mariah Rose Lenz and Sara Lynn Norman.

Casket Bearers will be Bruce and Don Olsen, Ryan Wiemiller, Bob, Duane and Don Bodin .
