Michelle Renae Corso, also known as Michelle Jackson-Erickson, age 61, of Minneapolis, journeyed to the Spirit World on October 20, 2020.

She was born on October 10, 1959 in Cleveland, OH the daughter of Robert Jackson and Ida McCormick.

On August 17, 2013 Michelle Jackson and Mark A. Erickson were married at All Nations Church in Minneapolis, MN.

She has resided in Minneapolis since 2004 moving from Cleveland, OH.  She attended the University of Akron and received a degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work and Counseling.  She was a counselor for kids in “lock down” for many years.  Michelle enjoyed reading, learning and was fond of baking.

Survived by her husband, Mark A. Erickson; step-daughter Quivven Corso of Cleveland, OH; brothers Chester Jackson of Rochester, NY and Dion Simms of Dayton, OH; best friend Judy Harmsen; puppy Lilly; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her grandparents that raised her Mack & Evelyn McCormick; her parents and her puppy Jonah.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 27th at 10:00 AM at the Old Pine Point School, Pine Point, MN.  Spiritual Leader will be Zac Early.  Interment at Breck Memorial Episcopal Cemetery, Pine Point, MN.

All night wakes will be held Sunday, October 25 and Monday, October 26 at the Old Pine Point School, Pine Point, MN beginning at 6:00 PM.

She died of a jealous pancreas.

Chilson Funeral Home, Winsted served the family.

    I am sadly to find out you departed from us. We lost each other throughout the years. You was there when I had my son Prosser. I wish we would of stay in touched. My You Have Everlasting peace
