Mary Mabel Reardon, age 77, of Waverly died Friday, September 19, 2008 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.
She was born on February 26, 1931 in Glencoe the daughter of Raymond “Ray” & Mabel Baumgarten Rauschendorfer.
Mary graduated from Howard Lake High School in 1949.
On February 1, 1951, Mary M. Rauschendorfer and Joseph D. Reardon were joined in holy marriage at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Delano. God blessed their marriage with two daughters.
She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren, pan fishing, scary movies and cooking shows. She was an excellent cook!
Mary was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly.
Survived by her husband of 57 years: Joseph D. Reardon; daughters: Karen Ann (George) Foede of Two Harbers, Minnesota and Cindy Jo (Wayne) Boman of Waverly; five grandchildren: Skip Johnson & Shannon Benalshaikh, Bryce Boman, Bryan Boman and Evan Boman; nine great grandchildren; a sister: Mavis (Frank) Stieve of Pequot Lakes; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents:Raymond & Mabel Rauschendorfer and by a brother: Donald Rauschendorfer.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Reardon will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd at 10:30 A.M. at The Church of St. Mary’s in Waverly. Father Timothy Cloutier will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
A visitation is Monday, September 22nd from 4-8 P.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly.
Casket Bearers are grandchildren: Skip Johnson, Shannon Benalshaikh, Bryce Boman, Bryan Boman and Evan Boman and a nephew: Allen Stieve.
