Mary Ann Elizabeth Nelson, 85, of Isanti passed away on 11/1/18. Born in Winsted on 9/2/33 to Leonard & Ann (Remer) Westrup. Survived by her loving husband of 62 years Roy B. Nelson; son Gregory Nelson; daughter Paula (Abdul) Akkari; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; her mother Ann Westrup; siblings: Helen Eckberg, Ramona (John) Fillar, Leona (Greg) Irmiter, David Westrup and Kathleen (Louis) Quast; & many other relatives & friends. Preceded in death by her father and by 2 brothers Kenneth and Linus. Mary Ann had worked as an inspector for Univac for over 30 years. She was fond of traveling and especially enjoyed her grandchildren, playing cards and her pets. A memorial visitation will be held on 11/10/18 from 2-5 pm at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted.
