    Dear Vern & Family;
    My condolences to all of you in the loss of Marsha. She was such a good friend to me not only in choir but the many music seminars she, Margie & I attended. She was always there with a helping hand for anyone in need. I will miss our chats.

    May the peace of God fill your hearts and sustain you in this difficult time. “The righteous perishes and no man takes it to heart; Merciful people are taken away, While no one considers that the righteous is taken away from evil. They shall enter into peace; They shall rest in their beds, each one walking in their uprightness.” ISAIAH 57:

    Dear Vern & family;
    We are so sorry for your great loss. We can’t diminish your pain, but we do share in that loss, too. Marsha was a great lady & a dear friend. Her obit said it well “a strong person, a big heart, lots of compassion.” I’m so glad she was a part of my life!! I just wanted one more visit to reminisce & tell her how much she meant to me, but that is not to be, so I will tell you instead — I loved this lady!! Oh, did we have fun in the ‘good old days’!! She & Jeanne (bless her soul, too…) took me under their wings when I was a brand new nurse starting at St Mary’s and we worked so well together!! And we played well together, too. Marsha was a hoot!! I remember the garage saling days, oh my!! The station wagon over-flowing…so much fun!! And there was the shopping, the crafting, the many coffee get-togethers, parties, showers, the Christmas party she hosted (complete with having Santa there, and each of us receiving a very ‘special’ handmade gift…I still have that little bikini somewhere…hahaha…thank you, Marsha!!) She was such a multi-talented lady–with her music rating #1!! She played the organ for my wedding–I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else, only the BEST!! And the BEST she was, not only with her music, but with so many other things in life, too. She touched my heart (and others!) in so many ways. Although our time together lessened these past few years, but my thoughts & feelings for her did not, and we could always just ‘reconnect’ when we did reconnect, whether it was over a planned lunch, or at a store, a fish fry, a funeral, wherever we would run into each other! I’m so happy she was able to retire when she did and enjoy her ‘free time’–but we missed her presence (& expertise!) at Glencoe then (and the more frequent meetings) and we’ll miss her now more than ever…our lunch gatherings won’t be the same without her!! But her spirit and all that she shared with us will always be there. We’ll honor her with our next cup of coffee & pie at the Orchard!! Or maybe even something better than that ~ CHEERS to you, Marsha!! We love you…we’ll miss you. Bless your dear Soul…we’re so saddened by all that you went through these past months. May you rest in peace. You are so deserving of that heavenly reward!! And extra special blessings to all those left behind, such a difficult time you’ve been through & are going through. Such a loss & void this is. May you always feel her special love & spirit with you too. Please take care! Celebrate the memories of those good days…there are so many!! May they help to heal your hurting hearts a little, and bring some smiles back into your world, too, knowing she’s still ‘there’ smiling with you!!

    Lots of love & prayers going out for all of you.
