Marion Therese Paul, aged 92, departed this life on November 10, 2019 after a brief illness in Winsted MN.
Marion was born in New Ulm, MN, the second daughter of A.C. and Leona Amann.
She graduated from St. Catherine’s School of Nursing in 1949 and was married to Harold J Paul in 1950.
Marion was a longtime resident of Mankato MN where she raised seven children.
She was active in her parish, St. John’s Catholic Church.
Marion enjoyed bridge and traveling in the United States and overseas. She and Harold volunteered in the community, serving many organizations.
She is survived by her seven children, Mary Davis (James) of Philadelphia, Joseph (Cheryl), John (Janet) and Christopher (Barbara) of the Twin Cities, Stephen (Sharon) of Ft Myers and Nisswa, Ann Brown (James) of Winsted and Catherine Mitchell (Mark) of Waseca and their respective spouses. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Delores Traxler and her husband Don as well as her sister in law Patty Amann and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Harold and grandson Andrew Paul as well as her brother Jack and her parents.
Marion was blest in her life, and her family is blest to have had her as a mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother.
A Mass for the celebration of her life will be held at St. Odilia Catholic Church in Shoreview MN on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 11 am with visitation at 10 am.
