Margaret Mary “Marge”, age 74, of Waverly passed away on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017 surrounded by family.

She was born on May 24, 1943 in Watertown the daughter of Louis & Catherine (Horsch) Pollock. Marge grew up in Woodland Township and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Waverly in 1961.

On October 5, 1963, Margaret M. “Marge” Pollock and Alan F. Moy were joined in holy marriage at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly. God blessed their marriage with three daughters and a lifetime of adventure.

Marge was the President of Sentry Fire Protection for over 43 years. She enjoyed driving trips with Al out west and to Texas, spending time at the cabin in Northern Minnesota and spending time with family and friends.

Marge was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly.

Survived by her loving husband of fifty four years: Alan F. Moy; daughters: Catherine (Jason) Barthman, Deborah Moy and Vickey Moy; three grandchildren: Ruby Johnson, Jack Johnson and Dylan Barthman; siblings: Bill (Carol) Pollock, Carolyn (Dennis) Nieman, Ed (Linda) Pollock and Helen (Rick) Rummelhart; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Jim Moy and Linda (Bill) Buschel; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, a sister Lois, father-in-law & mother-in-law Ray and “Bub” Moy and by sister-in-law Dolly Moy.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Marge Moy will be held on Thursday, December 28th at 10:30am with visitation beginning at 9:30am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly, MN. Celebrant will be Father Kenneth O’Hotto.

A visitation will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 27th from 5-8 pm.

Honorary Urn Bearers will be grandchildren: Ruby Johnson, Jack Johnson and Dylan Barthman.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Allina Health Hospice and Palliative Care (Susie, Mary(s), Jane, Jan) for their compassion and support.
