Louis Daniel Charging Bear, age 56, of Minneapolis Journeyed to the Spirit World on June 6, 2015 at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
He was born on March 21, 1959 on The Rose Bud Reservation in South Dakota the son of Thomas Charging Bear and Theresa BlackBear.
Louis graduated from St. Francis Indian School and attended Sinte Gleska University.
He was a disabled sundancer and pipe carrier for sixteen years. Louis was an outgoing person who liked to talk to people, read, walk and watch his favorite T.V. show NCIS. Louis worked hard at the Sundance to help get everyone ready. He was a very good Dad, generous and loving. He had his own issues, but we loved and supported him.
Survived by three daughters: Merna White Hawk, Veronica & Danielle Charging Bear; six grandchildren: Sonia, David, Nerissa, Paul, Alexis and Marisela; brothers: Noel, Ronnie and Greg Quigley; sisters: Roberta and Almona Quigley; a host of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his two stepsons, Leon and Brandon, his sisters Ramona Quigley and Carol Charging Bear.

Funeral services for Louis Charging Bear will be held on Tuesday, June 16th at 10:00 A.M. at The Church of Blessed Kateri in Minneapolis. Father Mike will officiate.
All night wake will be held on Monday, June 15th beginning at 7:00 P.M.
Honorary Casket Bearers and Casket Bearers will be All his family and friends.
