 Lorraine Aniceta Kritzeck, age 95, of Becker (formerly Howard Lake), passed away peacefully on Friday, December 18, 2020.

She was born on January 25, 1925 in Eden Valley to Henry and Magdalen (Lueck) Millerbernd and she was the youngest of seven children.

On September 20, 1949, Lorraine was joined in holy marriage to Leo Kritzeck at St. Peter Catholic Church in Eden Valley. God blessed their marriage with seven children.

After marriage, Leo and Lorraine lived on his family’s dairy farm near Howard Lake where Lorraine lived until 2011. She then moved to Shepherd of Grace Senior Community in Becker where she lived until her passing.

Lorraine was known for her excellent baking and cooking skills. She would often share her meals, treats, and recipes with family and friends. Gardening was another passion of hers and her floral arrangements had won numerous prizes at county fairs.

Above all, Lorraine was a faith-filled, compassionate, and kindhearted woman who was also known for her quick wit and great advice.

Lorraine is survived by her children: Audrey (Greg) Dishman, Greg (Sharon) Kritzeck, Mary (Bruce) Norman, Robert (Marlene) Kritzeck, and Carolyn Chalupsky; and daughters-in-law Eva Kritzeck and Denise Kritzeck. She is further survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Leo, her sons Joe and Jon Kritzeck; and son-in-law Doug Chalupsky; and granddaughter Casey Kritzeck.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 4th  at 1:00 PM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.  Inurnment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon at the Chilson Funeral Home, Winsted.
