Visitation Information

Lori Louise Schoen, age 51, of Morton, Minnesota journeyed to the Spirit World on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Redwood Area Hospital in Redwood Falls.

She was born on April 8, 1959 in Redwood Falls the daughter of Jerome & Corrine Leith Schoen.

Lori graduated from Morton High School in 1977.

She was employed at The Bingo Hall and was a Tribal Representative at Jackpot Junction. Lori enjoyed reading, watching soap operas, cooking a Sunday Dinner for the football games,visiting with people and talking on the phone. She also liked R&B and Country music.

Survived by children: Corinna Schoen, Leticia Perez, Jerome Joseph Schoen, Isidoro Sanchez Jr. and Ricardo Cresencio Sanchez Sr. all of Morton; grandchildren: Brandon, Bryce, Betty, Bethany and Bryant Hernandez; Ricardo Sanchez Jr., Giselle and Ginessa Sanchez; Patrice Schoen and Rodney Papish Jr.; siblings: Patti Schoen and Jerome Schoen both of Morton; significant other: Aaron Wetherspoon; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents and by a brother: Barry Schoen.

ALL NIGHT WAKE BEGINS TODAY BEGINNING AT 4:00 P.M. at Bishop Whipple Mission in Lower Sioux.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 24th at 1:00 P.M. at St. Cornelia Episcopal Church in Lower Sioux. Reverend John Robertson will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Cornelia’s Cemetery.

The Chilson Funeral Chapel, Winsted, MN assisted the family.

    My heart is heavy. I am glad I had the chance to spend some time with you this summer. From the first day I met you, I knew you’d be my friend. You always had love for everyone from within. As a sister in law you were great, as a friend you were the best. And to have been in your family, I am very proud & truly blessed. You are at peace my friend.
