Linda R. Applebee, age 50, of Minneapolis Journeyed to the Spirit World on Sunday, November 10, 2013.
She was born on March 18, 1963 in Minneapolis the daughter of Thomas Applebee and Melvina Morrison. Linda enjoyed making dream catchers, spending time with friends & family, she loved being with her grandchildren, traveling, camping and going to the casino, enjoyed arts & crafts and was a Minnesota Twins fan.
Survived by special friend: Larry O’Swaldson of Minneapolis; sons: Aaron May Sr. of Red Lake, Minnesota, Terrance May Sr. of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Andrew Martin of Bemidji, Minnesota; daughters: Clarice (Matthew Sorenson) Applebee of Thief River Falls and Miranda Applebee of Minneapolis; fourteen grandchildren; brothers: Gary Applebee and Donald Applebee both of Red Lake, Minnesota; sisters: Debra Applebee and Lorie Applebee both of Minneapolis, Minnesota; many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Brandon Applebee & Mike Applebee, her daughter: Amber Martin, her sons: Melvin May III & Jameson Applebee, grandchild: Terrance May Jr., her children’s fathers: Melvin May Jr. and Tony Martin and by nieces: Angel and Andrea Applebee.
All night wake will be held on Wednesday, November 13th beginning at 4:00 P.M. at Blessed Kateri, 3045 Park Avenue S., in Minneapolis.
A further all night wake will be held on Thursday, November 14th beginning at 7:00 P.M. at The Red Lake Community Center.
Funeral Services for Linda Applebee will be held on Friday, November 15th at 2:00 P.M. at The Red Lake Community Center.
Interment will follow at St. John’s Episcopal Cemetery in Redby, Minnesota.
Honorary Casket Bearers will be “Auntie Bunny” Morrison, Kathy Chaboyea, Angel Rose Morrison, Robin “Nay-Nay” English, Katrina “Boonser” English, Erlene Johnson, Shirley White and Michelle Morrison.
Casket Bearers will be Jorge “Beto” Applebee, Matthew Sorenson, Damon Applebee, Terrance May Sr., Aaron May Sr. and Andrew Martin.
Alternate Casket Bearers will be Steven “Butch” Starr and Thomas “TJ” Applebee.
