Lewissa Evamarie Smith, age 31, of Minneapolis journeyed to the spirit world on November 13, 2013.

She was born on December 31, 1981 in Minneapolis the daughter of Louis Smith and Gayle La Roque.

Lewissa loved listening to music and watching Disney movies. She enjoyed drawing, playing with her cat “Lovey” and especially spending time with her nephew.

She is survived by her sisters Sandra Matrious and Susan Smith of Minneapolis, a half sister, nephew Isaiah Smith, aunts, uncles, many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and infant son Bud Garbow.

Funeral services for Lewissa Smith will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Redby Community Center at 2:00 P.M.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to services.

Honorary Casket Bearers are Susan Smith and Isaiah Smith.

Casket Bearers are Sandra Matrious and Susan La Roque.

Interment at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Red Lake, MN.

The Chilson Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
