Leona Hausladen, age 89, of Winsted, entered her heavenly home on November 9, 2012. Beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. Leona was preceded in death by husband Leander Sterner. A most caring and generous woman, she will be deeply missed by many. She is survived by her loving husband of forty years, Gene Hausladen; daughters: Barbara Bittner Sterner and Joann (Duane) Anders; other relatives and many friends.
I’ll miss you, Grandma.
My thoughts and prayers are with Gene and all the family. Leona is a very special woman and will be extremely missed. Leona was so soft spoken and kind-hearted. Leona loved getting together for church activities and community events and ALWAYS would give hugs and be full of smiles. Now Leona and my mom can hug again in Heaven. Eternal rest, grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. Amen.
