Kenneth George Moy, age 82, of Mayer, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital.
He was born July 6, 1939, in Winsted, MN, the son of Fred and Isabelle (Bayerl) Moy. After high school, Ken served his country in the US Army. He was joined in marriage to Joan Barfnecht on January 29, 1966, and God blessed their marriage with four children.
Ken devoted his entire career to Millerbernd Manufacturing Company, in Winsted, both as a welder, and helping to keep operations running smoothly as a maintenance engineer. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, gardening, making wood crafts, and tinkering with small engine repair projects.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joan, three sons, Michael (Nancy) Moy, Milan Moy, Myron (Susan) Moy, and daughter Michelle (Mark) Simons. He was also the proud grandfather of nine grandchildren.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother-in-law, Marlene and Leonard Dusoski, and brother Roger Moy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 11:00 AM, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted, MN. Interment with military rites at Holy Trinity Cemetery Columbarium.
A visitation will precede the Mass at 9:30 AM AT THE CHURCH.
