    Phyllis and family; Our prayers and support, as always, are with you and the family. Never easy. Julie fought the good fight. Her spirit and soul now live on in union with our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father and the Holy Spirit. May they support you during this time of darkness. While we mourn, she is free of leukemia and will be sick no more. May she experience God in His fullness with all the angels and saints.

    Dear Phyllis and family,
    Know that you are being thought of in a special way at this difficult time. Wishing you comfort and peace.

    To Julie’s family;
    Though I didn’t get to know Julie very well while I was a caretaker at Hope Lodge, I did find her to be such a pleasant girl. She always had a kind thing to say to Mona and I when we would see her in the dining area making her cards. Since I am not good with names and I didn’t know either her name or her sisters name we simply called them the “card sisters”.
    My sincere sympathy to your family at the great loss you have suffered. I have never lost a child so don’t know what you are going through but I can imagine the heartbreak.
    Remember the wonderful times you had as a family before Julie got sick and you lost your husband. They will help you through this difficult time
    Your family will remain in my prayers.

    Phyllis, Melissa, Susan and Shantel,
    I am so sorry to hear about Julie. I had a very hard time with this. I realized living out of state that 20+ years have gone by. I talk about all my family and friends back in Minnesota like I just saw them yesterday and I realized I have not seen them in so many years. I had been trying to contact to Julie and thinking about everyone a lot this past couple of years and when I found out recently what had been happening I was devastated. I went back and looked at all the pictures I had of her and I as kids and teenagers. She was always kindhearted and everything she spoke about always had a meaning behind it. I will never forget her smile and her laugh. She has been in my prayers and continues to be. I am sure she and her father are up there reunited and pain free. She will forever be missed. You are all in my prayers.
