Joyce Marie (Hertzog) Jorgensen, age 57, of Winsted passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at her home.
Joyce was born on March 22, 1958. She was the daughter of Lambert and Rosella (Fiecke) Hertzog. On April 12, 1980, Joyce Marie Hertzog and Ronald Dale Jorgensen were married.
Joyce was formerly employed as a clerk at Keaveny Drug in Winsted.
Joyce enjoyed laughing, singing, playing guitar, walking and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband: Ronald Jorgensen of Winsted; a son: Joseph Jorgensen and wife Tammy of Dassel, a daughter: Jennifer (Jorgensen) Tinnes and husband Chad of Iowa, a son: Dan Jorgensen and fiancé Jaime LaVenture of Eagan and a son Michael Jorgensen of Silver Lake; a sister: Gloria Tonak of Winsted, a brother: Joe Hertzog and wife Brie of Lakeville, a sister: Rosemary Eiden and husband Kevin of Glencoe; grandchildren: Joseph Rath & wife Kelly, Adam Jorgensen & wife Kimberly, Derrick Thompson, Jacob Plath, Alexandra Stutzman & husband Alexander, Isaiah Jorgensen, Kaitlyn Wurzberger & husband Dylan, Casey Tinnes, Shawni Tinnes, eight great-grandchildren; special friends Deb Schlagel & Lori Jorgensen; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Preceded in death by her parents Lambert and Rosella Hertzog, a nephew Daniel Eiden and by a brother-in-law Owen Tonak.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Joyce Jorgensen will be held on Tuesday, March 8th, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Father Paul Schumacher will be the Celebrant.
Lavon Kielkucki will be the organist for the Mass.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday morning, March 8th from 9:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
