Jerome L. “Jerry” Littfin, age 63 of Howard Lake passed away on Thursday, May 28th, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on November 2nd, 1951 in Winsted the son of John J. & Fern M (Lacina) Littfin.
Jerry graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1969.
As a young man, he pitched for Winsted’s Legion Town Team.
He enjoyed working with wood, nature, planting trees, traveling, and motorcycle trips and loved his grandchildren.
Jerry was employed for many years at Littfin Lumber Company and owned and operated Littfin Hardware & Building Supply in downtown Winsted for five years.
Survived by children: Mark (Renee) Littfin of Maple Lake, Julie (Steve) Meyer of Minneapolis, Matthew (Amy) Littfin and Mitchell (Leslie) Littfin all of Winsted and Jacob (Tiffany) Littfin of Green Isle; nine grandchildren; a brother: Jack (Petie) Littfin of Winsted; relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents: John & Fern Littfin and by a sister Jeanne Fasching.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Jerome L. “Jerry” Littfin will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 8th, 2015 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
A visitation will be held at The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted on Monday morning, June 8th from 9:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M.
Casket Bearers will be Marc Fasching, Max Fasching, Justin Littfin, Steve Meyer, Will Meyer and Jamie Stotko.

I was very sorry to hear about your dad. I’m sure he was a great man and at least he was able to see your daughter before he went. We will keep your family in our prayers.
