Jerome Elmer Lambert, age 72, of Delano passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at his residence.
He was born on February 9, 1939 in Buffalo the son of August & Dolores Knight Lambert.
He was formerly employed for thirty years as a heavy equipment operator for the City of St. Louis Park. He belonged to the 49ers.
Jerome enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, rodeos, snowmobiling and camping.
Survived by his wife: Dianne Lambert; four sons: Melvin Lambert & Dean Lambert both of Delano, Michael (Julie) Lambert of Buffalo and Ronny Lambert of Delano; grandchildren: Austin Lambert and Cody Lambert; a sister: Evangeline Berthiaume of Annandale and by a brother: Harold (Catherine) Lambert of St. Louis Park; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents and by three brothers: Duane, Orville and Melvin.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13th at 1:00 P.M. at The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted. Chaplain Bob Haskin will officiate.
Special music will be provided by Tony Kline and he will sing “The Old Rugged Cross”.
Honorary Casket Bearers will be Clifford Lambert, Harold Lambert Jr. and Charles Wagner Jr.
