Kay and Annie, our deepest regrets but great joy has come into our lives with Jeff and his moments discussing tractor pulling and life’s experiences. We all will have a special place in our heart that we will keep Jeff’s memory and this gives Jeff’s life meaning and be very proud of that. Bill and Nick Lano are blessed by being a friend of Jeff Gueningsman. Thank You Kay and Annie for sharing him with us all.
My condolences to the family. Jeff was a very fierce competitor, but was always a great guy. I enjoyed pulling against him, he will be missed. He was always a first class act!
Kay, My condolences to you and your daughter. I remember first dealing with you when I bought a crankshaft from you and Jeff a few years back. The honesty and straight forwardness you displayed in that transaction shows the character that you both possessed. Jeff seemed a hard worker and a proud man. Those are the ones who seem to go first. Cherish the great times you had together and also remember the not so great times and smile at them because it takes all the times–good or bad– to make the person. Hopefully, family and God will comfort you in the upcoming days, weeks, and months and you can go on knowing that Jeff is in a better place and feeling no pain.

Kay –
Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your daughter. We were so saddened to hear about Jeff. Brett has many fond memories going back to when both he and Jeff first started truck pulling when they were both mere teenagers. The time has flown by, but we’d like to think that it was all of life’s enjoyments that made it fly by so quickly, leaving us with so many warm and wonderful memories. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, and we wish you the best always.
Sincerely,
Brett and Brenda Schuenke

Kay & Annie, We were so sorry to hear about Jeff. The last time I saw him was the day I brought Butch for his treatment. I could not believe I was seeing you there for Jeff. He was a great guy to chat with. He was always on the go, busy with work or working on the tractor or pickup getting ready for the next pull, but he always seemed to have time for anyone. And the smile when we’d asked about you and little Annie! Jeff will never be forgotten as long as we keep his memories alive..Take care & God bless you Kay & Annie

Kay;
I am living in Indianapolis now and just seen the news about Jeff in the Winsted Journal. I was shocked and very saddened to read about his passing. He was a great mechanic and an all around great guy. He will be deeply missed.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Our thoughts are with you.
When I received the news, there was a moment of pause in an already chaotic day. I realized my pause was for a man who was such a progressive thinker, he approached problems with eyes open! I will always respect Jeff for such a quality.
Hi Kay,
Long time no see my dear friend. I was just in Winsted today and saw Jeff’s (Cowie, is how I remember him)headstone. I was stunned and had to stop. All my memories of you came rushing back and all the love you two shared. I am so sorry for your loss.
Take care!
