Janet Darlene Blackthunder, age 74, journeyed to the Spirit World on July 6, 2019 in Los Angeles CA.
She was born on November 10, 1944 in Watertown, SD the daughter of Eli Blackthunder and Evangeline Phelps. She was blessed with two daughters, Georgina Darlene Sylas and Angela Lynn Roy Cruz.
Janet had a lot of special qualities about her. She especially had a great love for her family. She loved and cared for animals, plants and everything our Creator blessed our planet or life with. She would never turn away anyone who needed help, she had a heart of gold. She never judged anyone nor would she look down on anyone. Janet had a wild, funny sense of humor and her smile would light up the room!
She is survived by her daughter, Georgina Sylas; grandchildren: Amber Cedillo, Marcos A. Quintanilla Jr., Tina Marie Sylas Peck, Sylvia Marie Sylas Espinosa, Mariah N. Sylas, Josephine Cedillo, Marcella Lopez, Hector Lopez, Margaret J. Sylas, Joseph A. Martin, Edwin L. Blackthunder, Anthony J. Sylas; many great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
