James Poler, age 62, of Minneapolis, MN, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at his residence.
James was born on October 12, 1948, the son of Dennis and Mary Poler in Crandon, WI.
He enjoyed playing softball in his youth, and enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
James is survived by his wife Rebecca Poler and daughter Rachel Poler, both from Minneapolis, three grandchildren, nieces and nephews,other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for James Poler will be held on Monday, May 16, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Akina Church, 3249 30th Avenue S., in Minneapolis. Pastor Dan Pack will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Akina Church from 6 – 9 PM. Further visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday.
Casketbearers are: Richard Knight, Jay Redbow, Travis Lumbar, Travis Firesteel, Edward Yellowhammer and Derrick Castro.
Honorary Casket Bearers: are Travis Lumbar, Jr, Tela Lumbar and Tessia Lumbar.
Interment with military honors will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
