Ina Omaha, age 72, of Minneapolis, MN passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011. She was born on March 27, 1939 in Marty, SD.
Ina is survived by her daughter: Laura (Ira) Jubera; granddaughters: Laura, April, Rose and Crystal (Niles); grandson: Jesse; great-granddaughter: Nerissa and great-grandson: Niles, Jr; and loving dogs: Bill (little man) and Buster (baby).
She was preceded in death by her mother: Rose Archambault; father: Asa Omaha; son: Dennis Garbow; daughter: Carol Garbow; sisters: Joan and Birtha May and brothers: Arthur Joe, Robert Allen and Ramsey.
Wake services for Ina will be held on Thursday, May 12 at 5:00 PM at Gitchiwaa Kateria Indian Ministry in Minneapolis and Friday, May 13, 2011 at 5:00 PM at Wagner Boys & Girls Club in Wagner, SD.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 14 at 10:00 AM at Wagner Boys & Girls Club in Wagner, SD. Interment will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Marty, SD.
Honorary Pallbearers are Laura Jubera, Laura Omaha, Rose Rojas, April Webster, Crystal Stickney, Sherry IronNecklace, Celeste Fisher, Janis Provost, Phyllis Drapeau and Sierra IronNecklace.
