Imelda F. Marshall, age 82, of Winsted passed away at her residence on Friday, April 30th, 2010.
She was born in Victor Township, Wright County the daughter of Mike & Florence Aritt Osterbauer.
On May 12, 1947, Imelda F. Osterbauer and Donald P. Marshall were joined in holy marriage at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. God blessed their marriage with two daughters.
Imelda enjoyed quilting, fishing… especially ice fishing, gardening and was a great cook!
She was a faithful, lifelong member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted and belonged to St. Anne’s Society.
Imelda also was a member of American Legion Post # 407’s Auxiliary in Winsted.
Survived by loving daughters: Colleen Kaczmarek of Silver Lake and Mary (Joseph) Fleischhacker of Mound; seven grandchildren: Michael Kaczmarek, Jill Kaczmarek, Julie Kaczmarek, Molly Kaczmarek, “Fred” Fleischhacker, Eric Fleischhacker & Michael Fleischhacker; three great grandchildren; a sister: Doris Obinger of Albertville; a brother-in-law & sister-in-law: Arnold (Elaine) Marshall of Winsted; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by husband: Donald P. Marshall, son-in-law: Ken Kaczmarek, her parents, 2 brothers and a sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Imelda Marshall was held on Monday, May 3rd at 3:00 P.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Father Tony Hesse was the Celebrant. Interment followed at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
A visitation was held on Monday, May 3rd from 12 Noon till 2:30 P.M. at The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted.
Casket Bearers were Imelda’s seven grandchildren.
