A wonderful and loving friend, choir member, kind, and thoughtful mother to an extraordinary family who welcomed strangers, like me, into the family. I will cherish her memory.

She and John can now enjoy eternal peace together which Helen looked forward to after she lost the love of her life. There was hardly a time that she didn’t center her thoughts upon her husband, daughters, sons, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and grandchildren (as well as the extended family–and flowers….)

Helen, may you and John flower in the Garden of Heaven. Pray for us.

Helen you will be missed. Back when my siblings were little you took care of us when our Mom had surgery. You were a great friend to us and our Mom and Dad. Loved all our card parties, and our trips to shaken pizza after cards. Love you and miss you!

Sending prayers to your family. Now you can dance like you did in your courting days. She’d tell me how sweaty danci g was back in the day, at Sherman’s station, the Bluenote.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today as you lay your mother to rest. Deepest condolences to you all. May she rest in peace. I will always remember Helen as a very sweet and kind lady, and a tremendous cook. I was fortunate enough to have enjoyed many of her delicious meals with the Sheehan family in my early childhood and teenage years.
