Visitation Information

Helen Geraldine (Thune) Kritzeck joined her beloved husband Willard (Bill) in the arms of the Lord April 25, 2010 in Carlsbad, California, near the home of her son Ronald. Helen had been living with her son and his family since her diagnosis with cancer in December, 2009. Helen is also survived by her daughter Renee Biebel of Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Helen was born in North Dakota, July 17, 1921 and moved to Buffalo, MN during her adolescence. She and Bill were long time residents of Winsted, MN where she served her community through Holy Trinity Catholic Church, St. Anne’s Society and was formerly employed by Citizens State Bank-Winsted and at the Winsted Telephone Company, from which she retired.

On June 26, 1947, Helen G. Thune and Willard F. “Bill” Kritzeck were joined in holy marriage at St. Francis Catholic Church in Buffalo.
This heavenly union was blessed by two children: Ronald (Pam) Kritzeck and Renee (Harold)Biebel; Sisters-in-law: Jean Thune and Marietta Koch; grandchildren: Elisa Kritzeck-Hernandez (Paul), Farrah Barnes (Jason), Julie Anguiano (Mario), Ronda Stoner (Brad), Tiffany Vana (Eric), and Trudy Kritzeck; great-grandchildren: Brandon Hernandez, Gabrielle Anguiano, Austin Vana, Brett Hernandez, Isabella Hernandez, Jaejin Barnes, Tristan Vana, Ethan Stoner, Lochlan Barnes and Mario Anguiano; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband in 2008 and by her parents and by a daughter-in-law: Linda.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Helen Kritzeck will be held on Monday, May 3rd at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted.
Father Tony Hesse will be the Celebrant.

Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Winsted.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 2nd from 4-8 P.M. with a CCW Rosary at 4 P.M. and Prayer Service at 7 P.M. at The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted. Further visitation will be held on Monday, May 3rd at the funeral home from 9-10 A.M.

Pall bearers will be Jack Kritzeck, Tom Kritzeck, Lyle Kritzeck, Roger Kritzeck, Steve Kosek and Jim Koch.

The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted is serving the family.

    I am sorry to learn about the death of Helen Kritzeck. This must have been a difficult time for all. Therefore, I am forwarding scripture to bring solace. Please, read the following scriptures: Psalm 90:10, Genesis 5:3-32 and Hebrews 9:27.
