A Time of Gathering will be held on Saturday, August 10th at 11:00 A.M. at Sam & Marsha Sundin’s, 11705 154th Avenue S.E., Lake Lillian.

Guy Anthony Niesen, age 50, of Lester Prairie passed away on Thursday, August 1st, 2013 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
He was born on October 2, 1962 in Shakopee the son of James & Marjorie Sundin Niesen.
Guy grew up in Watertown and lived in Las Vegas, Nevada for the last thirty years. He had recently moved to Lester Prairie.
He was formerly a block layer for a construction company.
Survived by his son: Jimmy of Mound; daughters: Amanda of Shakopee and Natasha of St. Cloud; two grandchildren; brothers and a sister: Gary (Sue) Niesen of Anson, Texas, Mike (Barb) Niesen of Watertown, Nick (Kellie) Niesen of Montrose, Eric (Jill) Niesen of Murray, Kentucky, Chris (Joan) Niesen of Waverly and Kathy (Jim) Niesen-Habisch of Lester Prairie; special friend: Lynn Hrncier; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents: James and Marjorie Niesen, a brother: David Niesen, a sister: Mary Niesen, his grandparents and special aunts and uncles.
A Time of Gathering will be held on Saturday, August 10th at 11:00 A.M. at Sam & Marsha Sundin’s, 11705 154th Avenue S.E., Lake Lillian. Reverend Art Wiese will officiate.
Inurnment will be held at Tromso Cemetery, Lake Lillian, Minnesota.
Urn Bearer will be Mark Maiers.
“ The Old Rugged Cross” and “Amazing Grace” will be sung by Deb Sundin and “Name” will be sung by Wyatt Morcomb and Nicholas Niesen.
Readings by Douglas, Thomas, and Brittany Smith, and Miranda Niesen.
The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted is serving the family.
