Gladys Elaine “Glady” Lachermeier, age 69, of Howard Lake passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia.

She was born on January 3, 1946 in Litchfield the daughter of Ralph & Ruth (Nicol) Driver.

On September 14, 1963, Glady Driver and Darrell Lachermeier were joined in holy marriage at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly. God blessed their marriage with four children Natalie, Dean, Dennis and Brian.

Glady enjoyed gardening, her flowers, bird watching, flea markets and spending time with her family! She took pride in cleaning her clients homes, often times becoming part of their families over the years.

Later in life she enjoyed a few trips to the casino.

She was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Glady also belonged to a bowling league for many years.

Survived by her husband of fifty-two years: Darrell J. Lachermeier of Howard Lake; children: Natalie (Joe) Caouette of Winsted, Dean (B.J.) Lachermeier of Howard Lake, Dennis Lachermeier(special friend Kim) of Buffalo and Brian (Stacey) Lachermeier of Watertown; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren; a sister: Sylvia (Roy) Henry of Montrose; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and five godchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents Ralph & Ruth Driver, brothers Jerry Driver and Darrel Driver and by a sister Jean Dalbec.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Glady Lachermeier will be held on Saturday, September 19th at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Father Paul Schumacher will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Waverly.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th, 2015 from 4-8 P.M. at The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted. A Prayer service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Further visitation will be held on Saturday morning, September 19th from 8:30-9:30 A.M. at the funeral home.

Urn Bearer will be Jeremy Driver.
