Gerald A. Hausladen, age 80, of Winsted passed away at the Annandale Nursing Home on December 13, 2020.
He was born on October 26, 1940 in Winsted Township, the fourth child of Carl and Rosella (Millerbernd) Hausladen.
He graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1958. Gerald served in the army 1960-1962 in the 1st battalion, 77th Armor,
1st Infantry division,5 Ton Heavy Truck Driver during the Cuban Invasion. He was a 55 yr member of the Sprinkler Fitters
Union Local 669. He donated the Columbarium to the Holy Trinity Cemetery. He enjoyed travel, fishing, tractor pulls, the
Winsted Wildcats, and being the favorite uncle of his nieces and nephews. He entered the Annandale Nursing Home on Feb 18, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Josephine (Kelter) Hausladen and Joseph B. and Rosalia (Fasching)
Millerbernd, his parents Carl and Rosella (Millerbernd) Hausladen, and his two brothers Ronald and wife Alma (Weber)
Hausladen and Bernard (Bill) Hausladen, brother-in-law Austin Otto, and great nephew infant Craig Gorres Jr..
Gerald is survived by his brother David (Joan) Hausladen of Annandale, and sisters Mariann Otto of Lester Prairie, Germaine
(Francis) Schommer of Winsted, and Janet (Ralph) Millerbernd of Winsted.
