Georgia Ann Seewalker of Standing Rock reservation was born February 10th, 1972, in Chicago, Illinois to her mother, Ida Zimmerman and father, George Seewalker.
Georgia was a very strong, Sioux woman who spoke her mind at all times. She was funny and loved to cook for her family. Any time spent with her was always a good one. But most of all, Georgia was a daughter, a sister, a cousin, a friend. Her favorite title was and will always be Grandmother. If you met her, you would know how much she loved each and every one of her grandkids.
She did her best to look out for others, even when she sometimes needed a hand herself. She would always cook you a meal and she could talk for hours on end if you needed it. She was what you would call a beautiful soul. She will be missed dearly, but rejoice and seek comfort in the memories you made with her. The good, and mostly the ones that make you Laugh.
Georgia is survived by her mother: Ida Zimmerman; father: George Seewalker; sisters: Diana Dolores, Dorothy and Stephanie; daughters: Marijane and Pauline Roberts, Nia Lumbar; son: Scott Lumbar; grandsons: Walter Kennedy Jr, Cash, Chase, and Caynan Houston; granddaughters: Paige Tweed, Carmen Houston, Michelle and Ahlainah Kennedy; many other loving family and friends.
I am in shock. I met Georgia in 1987, and always admired her strength.
