Gary Herbert Pariseau, age 75, of Winsted, MN passed away on April 15, 2024.

He was born on June 17, 1948 in Minneapolis, MN the son of Leo and Edith (Parsons) Pariseau.

Gary was baptized as an infant on July 4, 1948 at Church of Sacred Heart in St. Paul, MN and was confirmed in his faith on October 6, 1961 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted.

He was raised and lived in Winsted his entire life.  In his younger years he enjoyed stock car racing, drag races, snowmobiling and camping.  He was a member of the Winsted Sportsmen’s Club.  Gary loved fishing, hunting, trap shooting and visiting with his family and friends.

Preceded in death by his father, Leo Pariseau, his mother Edith Laxen, stepfather Arthur Laxen, brother Edward Pariseau, brother-in-law Charles “Chuck” Kallenbach and other family members and close friends.

Survived by children Samantha (Doug) Lind, Josette (partner Hope Spooner) Pariseau,Guy (Trish) Pariseau and Nicole (Corey) Snavely; grandchildren Hunter (Grace), Keegan and Lydia Lemke, Cooper, Tate, Carson and Brynlee Pariseau; siblings Gail Kallenbach, Bernard Laxen, Timothy (Mary) Laxen; sister-in-law Barb Pariseau; nieces and nephews Stacy Stibal, Amy Bauer, Daniel, Jared and Matthew Pariseau, Kimberly Schauer, Crystal Laxen and Jonathan Laxen; other relatives and friends.

Memorial service for Gary Pariseau will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, MN.  Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Inurnment at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Urn Bearers will be Gary’s grandchildren.

    My condolences to Gary’s family. He would play cards with his neighbors and visit with you when sitting outside on a nice day. May he rest in peace.
