Frank Joseph Willis Jr., age 70, of St. Paul Journeyed to the Spirit World on Monday, October 14, 2013 at his residence. He was born on February 20, 1943 in Nahma, Michigan the son of Frank Willis Sr. & Margaret.
Frank was formerly employed as a lumberjack and a trucker. “He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved to make arts & crafts. He loved his cigarettes, and his nickname was “Chief Smokes A lot.” He was very loving, caring, and funny- always ready with a good joke. He will be missed greatly. He was helpful and generous to all his family, friends, community, and anyone who needed some help or kindness.” Survived by former wife: Laura Willis of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; a son: Joseph William Willis of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; daughters: Melissa Knickerbocker of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin and Kristina Willis of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; ten grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Frank Joseph Willis Jr. will be held on Saturday, October 19th at 10:00 A.M. at Department of Indian Works,
1671 Summit Ave. in St. Paul, MN 55105
An all night wake will be held on Friday, October 18th beginning at 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Department of Indian Works.
