Visitation Information
Ellen Wilson-Bonnell, age 73, of Watertown, SD, journeyed to the Spirit World on Tuesday, April 19th, 2011 at her home.
She was born in Sisseton, SD, on July 19, 1937, the daughter of Louis Wilson and Rose Trudel.
Ellen believed in her traditional Dakota ways, and that “all people should be as one.”
Survived by two daughters: Carol (Steve) Mendez of Watertown, SD, and Margaret Rose Bonnell of Minneapolis; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; a brother: Earlwyn Wilson of Sisseton; a sister: Mary Bear of Lake City, SD; a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by: Her husband Herbert Bonnell; her parents; and by seven siblings.
A Memorial Service will be held on July 5, 2011.
The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, MN, is serving the family.
