Elizabeth Joyce LaPoint, age 83 of Minneapolis, Minnesota Journeyed to the Spirit World on July 10, 2022. She was born in Reserve, Wisconsin on March 19, 1939 the daughter of David Belille and Louise Corbine.
She loved her children; her family was everything to her. Elizabeth loved music, Bob Segar, The Eagles, and The Rolling Stones. Family parties, gatherings for the 4 of July, Christmas, social events, cooking, spending time at LCO, Hummingbirds, Butterflies, going to the Falconer Vineyards, La Casita’s Mexican Restaurant, mystery shows, scary movies, traveling by train, especially to Washington was many of the things Elizabeth loved. Elizabeth prayed the rosary every day, sometimes twice a day. She was a part of the Christian’s Mothers Guild at St. Boniface. She was an enrolled member of The Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Ojibwe.
Survived by her son: Timothy LaPoint; daughters: Dawn LaPoint and Suzette Boltjes; brothers: Melvin Belille and Clarence Ess Belille; sisters: Sharon Daughtrey, Evelyn Barabash, Mary Olsen and Margaret Necklace; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; many other loving relatives and friends.
Elizabeth is preceded in death be her parents; daughter: Robin LaPoint; sons: Dennis LaPoint, Donald LaPoint and Dino LaPoint.
A Mass of Christian burial for Elizabeth LaPoint will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Boniface, 629 2nd St. NE, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55413. Father Biju Mathew will be the celebrant.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 beginning at 12:00 (Noon) until time of services at the church.
A Mass of Christian burial for Elizabeth LaPoint will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 12:00 (Noon) at St. Francis Mission Solanus Church, 13891 W. Mission Road on The Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation in Stone Lake, Wisconsin. Father Greg Hopefl will be the celebrant.
Visitation at the church of Friday, July 22, 2022 beginning at 11:00 A.M. until time of services at the church.
Interment at St. Francis Mission Solanus Church Cemetery in Stone Lake, Wisconsin.
Honorary Casket Bearers will be Dean LaPoint and Clarence Ess Belille.
Casket Bearers will be Anthony LaPoint, Zach LaPoint, Travis Heckman, Troy Heckman, Curtis Boltjes and Matt Belille.
