Elaine Marie Gueningsman, age 78, of Lester Prairie passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, surrounded by family.

She was born on April 4, 1938 in Winsted the daughter of Gilbert and Viola (Pawlak) Rehmann.

On April 30, 1960, Elaine Marie Rehmann and Leonard Herman Gueningsman were joined in holy marriage at the Rectory of Holy Trinity Church.

God blessed their marriage with six children.
Elaine enjoyed owning and operating The Pantry Cafe in Winsted for many years.

She enjoyed cooking, truck pulls, spending time with family, baseball games, going to the lake, reading, sewing and garage sales.

Survived by her loving children: Jo (Fritz) Lukes of Lester Prairie, Jean (Tim) Sicheneder of New Germany, Jim (Tammy) Gueningsman of Winsted, Jerry (Cindy) Gueningsman of Lester Prairie, daughter-in-law Kay Gueningsman of Winsted, Jody (Linda) Gueningsman of Annandale; grandchildren: Jenna Lukes and fiancé Tom, Jessika (Cody) Cuhel, Bryan (Colleen) Sicheneder, Brad (Molly) Sicheneder, Jamie (Tyson) Barnes, Kasey Gueningsman and fiancé Josh, Cody Gueningsman, Nicole (T.J.) Schulz, Kayla Gueningsman and fiancé Matt, Gabby Gueningsman and Justin Schelitzche, Annie Gueningsman, Cole Gueningsman and Alex Gueningsman; step-grandchildren Andrew (Samantha) Haggard and Taylor Haggard; great grandchildren: Hayley, Johnathan, Victoria, Scout, Grant, Treighton, Bryce and Addy; step-great grandchildren: Sara and Adeline; siblings: Dennis (Betty) Rehmann of Winsted, William (Elaine) Rehmann of Watertown and Phillip (Sharlene) Rehmann of Winsted, sister-in-law Lucy Rehmann of Lester Prairie; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband Leonard, her son Jeff, her parents Gilbert and Viola and her brother Harvey.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 A.M. on September 19th at The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, with a prayer service beginning at 11:30 A.M. Father Paul Schumacher will officiate. Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery. Alice Nowak will be the organist for the prayer service.

Casket Bearers will be Bryan Sicheneder, Brad Sicheneder, Cody Gueningsman, Cole Gueningsman, Alex Gueningsman, Justin Schelitzche, Tyson Barnes, T.J. Schulz and Cody Cuhel.
